<div>We worked on the Beta Project today in class. I have attached the directions for those who need to review them again. The Beta will be the next class (24th for 5th period and the 25th for 2nd period). The beta will consist of turning in the Beta Project (worth half the grade), and doing a Beta on scatterplots. Students will be given a bunch of points then asked to:</div>
<div>1) graph them</div>
<div>2) find the direction, strength, and form (these will be defined)</div>
<div>3) Write an equation for the line of best fit</div>
<div>4) Make a prediction based upon the graph or equation</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div><br>

<div>We worked on the vocab of scatterplots, and then students had a chance to practice with the worksheet. Students should attempt to write their own trend line before going to <a href="goo.gl/z1rGhj " target="_blank">goo.gl/z1rGhj </a>to find the actual line of best fit. They should use the actual line to answer the questions on the back.&nbsp;</div><br>
