I graduated from UC Davis with a major in English. I have taught since 2006 and have taught every level from 7th-12th grade English and 8th grade history. I love to teach. My goal in English is to help students become the best English student they can be, by preparing them to have the skills to succeed in advanced English, whether that be the AP Lit test, a college course, etc… I also am credentialed to teach history and love to see how history interacts with the world. My goal in history is to create engaged thinkers who make connections between the past and the present and use their knowledge to affect the future in positive ways.
I use google classroom for due dates and assignments. Parents, you can sign-up for weekly summaries and access to the calendar. Students, we will get you signed-up during the first week back to school.
