Western Sierra Carpool Group Information
Sign up today! When you carpool, everybody at Western Sierra benefits. Not only does it ease the traffic at our school but it saves you money on gas and car maintenance. Not to mention you don't have to deal with the stress of fighting traffic every day. Having your student(s) picked up by another parent lets you get to work on time, go to the gym, hit the store, start laundry or stay in your PJ's. Carpooling eases traffic, saves gas, but it also saves time—and your sanity.
This is how it works:
If you would like to start carpooling, submit a completed Western Sierra Carpool Form to [email protected]. When it is received, I will send you a list of families in your neighborhood. Once you find a match, contact your party with either the phone number or e-mail address listed. Then consider joining the WSCA Carpool Group online on Facebook and receive carpool updates and an opportunity to connect with WSCA carpools throughout the school year.
Post a carpool message:
Signed up but still looking, because you didn't find an exact match? Post your information on the WSCA Carpool Group on Facebook. Ask your fellow carpoolers for solutions! Western Sierra students and families have been through it all, from navigating traffic, finding the best parking spots to coordinating rides to school, games and even field trips; someone is sure to have a solution that will work for you.
Edit your information:
If you need to update or make a change to your information (schedule, phone number, address, etc), send a new completed Western Sierra Carpool Form to [email protected]. It will get updated right away.
Delete your information:
Have you moved and your student is no longer attending our school? Or don’t need a carpool anymore? It’s easy, just remove yourself from the WSCA Carpool Group by sending an email to [email protected].
