Middle School Uniforms
MIDDLE SCHOOL CHOIRS:
There is no formal uniform ordered for middle school choir members, but they are required to dress in a uniform manner for performances. Remember that concerts are generally formal affairs. Our high school groups are in gowns and tuxedo shirts and pants--jeans, t-shirts, casual shoes are not appropriate.
The uniform consists of basic clothing elements that should be easy to acquire without great expense. Please shop sales, thrift stores, etc., to get what you need. Also, please check the fit of all uniform items a week or two before any concert to avoid any surprises--middle school students tend to have frequent growth spurts.
Students can chose what they are comfortable in. Please use the guidelines below and work with your student to get the items they need.
- White blouse or sweater, black dress pants or skirt, black dress shoes (flats preferred). Skirts must reach the knee or be worn with opaque tights/leggings.
- White dress shirt (collared), and black dress pants, black socks and dress shoes. Ties are encouraged but not required.
