Fundraising

Fundraising is one of the methods used to ensure we have the equipment we need and are able to participate in competitions/trips to further musical development and growth.

We have several opportunities available to students. Additionally, donations can be made using the Western Sierra School Store or by check (made payable to RA-ASB) or cash (sealed envelope with student name/choir).  Please make sure to include the student(s) name.  Participate in as many as you would like.  If you have an idea for a fundraiser, please bring it to Mrs. Dayton.

Reserved Seating
We have 8 rows of padded chairs available (64 chairs).  These are reserved for the full year (all 3 concerts, Preview Show) and purchasing them gives families the option to purchase Cafe Night tickets early.  These seats go on sale August 29 and go quickly.  Last year, we sold out all 64 seats within 3 hours.

Program Ads
Previously one of the most profitable fundraisers, we are hoping to get this going again this year (after a couple of covid years off). Families and businesses can purchase anything from 1/4 page to full page in our programs that are seen by an average of 300+ people at each event, making this a very low-cost way for them to find new customers.  CHOIR:  75% of the price is credited to the student's trip account and costs for choreographers, music, costumes, competition fees, etc., 25% goes to the choir scholarship account to help students with financial needs.

Ads should be emailed to Miken Dayton at [email protected] and payment can be made by check (made payable to RA-ASB with "Program Ad" in the memo line).  Any questions can be directed to Miken Dayton.

Cafe Night
Our Cafe Night is Broadway themed this year.  We will be performing on October 14th and 15th.  Please join us for one of our three performances:  Friday night (dinner and show--$18 adults/$15 students), Saturday matinee (dessert and show--$10 adults/$8/students), and Saturday night (dinner and show--$18 adults/$15 students).

Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success.  Please contact Mrs. Dayton at [email protected] for more information.

Mandarin Oranges
We are partnering with Tudsbury Orchard to sell mandarin oranges.  A 10 pound bag is $22.  We will have two delivery dates in December (12/7, 12/13).

Disney Dazzle Show Choir Camp
Open to any students age 6-13 years, our summer show choir camp is staffed by members of Alphas and Serenade.  Students will work on their "triple threat" skills of singing, dancing, and acting in this week long camp.  Join us from June 13-17, 2022 from 1:00-4:00 with a performance on Friday.  Choir students can earn money by recruiting students to participate and working the camp as staff.
