Today we had a whole class study session so the students know exactly what to know for the test.  It will cover chapters 3 and 4 (minus the names and functions of cell organelles).

Test is Friday. Bring cell board game back to school so we can play them after the test.

***Also, many students still need to retake the cell organelles/functions test.  Please check online grades and see if your child needs to do this.  I gave every student a study sheet to help with memorizing the functions and we completed it as a group about 2 weeks ago.

Welcome to 7th grade Science!

The following is due tomorrow:

1. Read the syllabus, finish signing the last page, and return it. The syllabus is to be put into your science binder (or section in your binder).

2. Read the safety contract and sign it. Return this tomorrow as well.

3. Bring all of the materials to class. Don't forget to add 20 file folders. I can keep these in the classroom if you prefer.

4. Cover your textbook and bring it back to school tomorrow.

5. Anyone out there with Barbie dolls we can use for an experiment? We will need about 10 for them for approximately 2 weeks. Bring any to school that you are willing to let us 'test'.

6. I would like to put tennis balls on the bottom of our chairs to help with the noise. If you have any old tennis balls that you would like to donate, just send them to school.
