Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, the high school within Rocklin Academy, not only believes in our mission, vision, and core values: We live them.

Our faculty believes in creating a school community that inspires its students to excel academically, pursue their passions, and impact the world with excellence.  With this belief system, Western Sierra is known for our academic rigor and success and we have prepared our graduates for admittance into the finest colleges and universities in the United States. Along with their acceptance, our students enter college with the 21st Century skills needed to achieve excellence. Additional evidence of our success came this past spring when Western Sierra was named the #1 school in Sacramento County for college readiness by U.S News and World Reports.

Our middle school utilizes Core Knowledge curriculum and our high school students all participate in Advanced Placement course work so that we ensure our students have a rich, impactful curriculum where simply put; knowledge builds on knowledge.  Core Knowledge and AP align with Common Core which delves deeper into materials, encourages critical thinking, problem solving, and builds analytical skills. Western Sierra is also forward thinking in technology with our implementation of 1:1 Chromebooks.  This technology enables students to learn in a multitude of ways, which impacts student learning by using differentiated and varied instructional strategies.

Working in partnership with our staff and parents, we are able to offer many enrichment opportunities through clubs, athletics, visual and performing arts, and community service. These phenomenal groups teach leadership skills and provide multiple opportunities for students to explore their passions.  Without the dedication of our outstanding faculty and staff and the support and partnership of our parents and volunteers, none of this would be possible.  I look forward to another outstanding year at Western Sierra Collegiate Academy.

Go Wolves!
