1. Bring a rough/first draft of the four-paragraph paper on "A Midwife's Apprentice." We will work on editing/revising in class on Wednesday. The paper is due on Friday, November 1.

2. Everyone has their assignment for their "Dare to Dream" assignment. Read through the section on the person that you have been assigned. You will then need to either create a glog or prezi about that person. You will want to include the following: when they lived, how they were educated, what they did that made them famous, how they overcame obstacles (at least 2), some type of personal connection or application, and how they are inspiring. Please check you CUPS (capitalization, grammar usage, punctuation, and spelling) and make sure that they aren't distracting to the reader. The assignment is due on 11/6.
