Student last summative assignment is due Monday May 9th. It is a research project and PowerPoint presentation. To help support student success there are 5 formative check points leading up to the final grade. The schedule is included in the document attached below. The grading will happen for this during the students presentations, that will begin on May 9th as well. The research proposal also attached below is due next Monday, April 18th.

In chapter 11 you read about Ms. Dubose and her relations with the Finch family. You will complete an in-role writing about Jem destroying Ms. Dubose’s camellias. The different point of views we will write from are Jem, Atticus, and Ms. Dubose.
Make sure that your in-role writing focuses on questions like why does Jem snap, what did he hope to accomplish, or how does Ms. Dubose feel about her own treatment of the children, how does Atticus really feel about Ms. Dubose, what does he hope to accomplish by sending the children to Ms. Dubose, etc.

Students have been given their quote organizers in their Th/F classes. They had 45 plus minutes work on these in class, but most need more time. Please finish the organizer before with at least 2 quotes per section, a total of 6 quotes.
