Finish the graphic organizer and questions about William the Conqueror and the Battle of Hastings.  Use the attachments if needed.

2.  Read the documents in the Mansa Musa packet and answer the accompanying questions.  On the back of the packet, write the question:  "Was Mansa Musa the richest man in the world?"  Then, use the rest of that page to do a Schaffer pre-write (color coded).  When finished, use a lined piece of paper to write a paragraph (a minimum of 3/4 page), and staple it to the back of the packet.

1.  Please complete the paragraph on Early Expansion in Islam - hand write it in the section provided in the packet.

Reminder to do the following:

1.  SQ3R for Ch. 10 Section 3 - please follow all steps before taking notes.  After reading, take notes (use one of the 3 methods taught and please use color)

2.  Finish the China Map.  Please use the maps provided in Google Classroom and on pg. 269.  I have also attached a map outline that can be printed out if a new map needs to be used.

2.  Work on the attached Graphic Organizers (strongly encouraged to complete by Wednesday) - they are all practice towards mastering Rome Essential Standards.

 

3.  We have a soft date for taking the Rome Beta Assessment on Friday, 9/28.  If extra practice is needed, the Beta will be given on Tuesday, October 4.  

 

 

 

Reminders:  Review for Rome Alpha Assessment tomorrow

2.  Study for the Alpha assessment on Rome - assessment date 9/20 (Tuesday)

2.  Make sure your map is completed - you don't need to cut it out and glue it to construction paper - you can if you want.

2.  Create a 15 question quiz on sections 1-3 (5 questions/section).  It can be hand written or done on the iPad.  Create an answer key that includes the correct answer and the page where it can be found.

1.  Remember we are Map Testing tomorrow - make sure you charge and bring your iPad.

2.  Get your homework from last week finished - finish Section 3 Mind Map and write a 15 questions quiz (5 questions from each section).  Homework will not be checked until Friday, so you may have a little more time if needed.
