This class is an introductory, skills based, medical course to give students an understanding of sports medicine and the basic skills to operate as a Student Athletic Trainer working with real interscholastic athletes. The students will be practicing these skills under intense supervision upon each other and during their practical component. This class is designed for students wanting to prepare for a medical or scientific career this is one important experience along their career path. Grade Levels: Sophomores and Juniors with some Seniors.

She is sweaty and cool to the touch with a rapid pulse."
