7th Grade World History (Period 1)

Welcome to 7th Grade World History! For this course, we will be following the California State Standards as we study World History from 500-1789. Our reading guide through the year will be Prentice Hall’s Medieval and Early Times. We will be learning about the civilizations and the contributions from the following countries: Rome, Afica, China, Japan, Mesoamerica (Aztetecs/Mayas), and Medieval Europe. In addition to these civilizations, we will be learning about the exciting advances and changes that came out of the Reformation, the Renaissance, the Scientific Revolution (Yes!), Exploration, and the Enlightenment.
