CS10, CS62 (Period 6)

Course Description

 These two courses are Sierra College dual enrollment courses. Both are one semester long courses. CS10 is offered in the fall semester, CS62 is offered in Spring semester. Students grades are recorded in Sierra College's Canvas system, not in Western Sierra's power school system. So students need to transfer the grades back to their high school after they finish the courses.
 

CSIS10 is an introductory level computer science course for non-majored students. In this course, students will learn introduction to computer hardware and software, structured programming, object-orientated programming, operating system concepts, network, database, and artificial intelligence. 3 units college credit. UC, CSU transferrable.

CSIS62 is an Introduction to methods and techniques of Web programming. Includes coverage of HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and Extensible HyperText Markup Language (XHTML). Designed to bring students up to the necessary skill and knowledge level for an intermediate Web programming course. 3 units college credit. CSU transferrable.
