Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year
 
I am excited to be teaching Math 7, Middle School Computer Science, Introduction to Computing and Programming Methodology this year.  I also run the after school tutoring program and in the Spring, I coach the WSCA high school swim team.
 
My goals are to make learning relevant to the learners, and to prepare them for further studies as well as the world beyond school.  
 
About Me
I was born and raised in New Zealand, and have resided in the U.S.A since 1996. I hold both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand, and a Diploma of Secondary Teaching from the University of Auckland Secondary Teachers College, as well as a California Teaching Credential.
I have almost 30 years of combined teaching experience in New Zealand and in the U.S.A, and
have taught all levels of mathematics, statistics, computer science, and robotics.
My husband and I have two adult daughters, and we love to travel the world. We like to bike and hike, and in our free time, we volunteer as a foster family for a local animal shelter.
