Welcome to 7th Grade Math!

I'm excited to be part of the Wolfpack again this year and look forward to getting to know each of my students this year.  Before joining WSCA, I spent many years working with schools and teachers across California to improve mathematics and STEM education. While I loved that work, I realized that my favorite place to be is in the classroom, learning alongside students every day.

In our class, you'll find that math is about much more than getting the right answer. We'll work together to solve challenging realworld problems, explain our thinking, learn from mistakes, and build confidence. My goal is for every student to grow as a mathematician while also developing the perseverance, organization, and collaboration skills that will help them in school and beyond.

I believe that every student can be successful in math with the right support, effort, and opportunities to think deeply. Whether math is already your favorite subject or one that makes you nervous, you belong here.
