Topics that we will be investigating are: Science Practices in Biology; Evolution & Diversity in Living Systems; Inheritance in Living Systems; Homeostasis in Living Systems; Energy, Matter, and Organizational Relationships; and Health, Relationships, and the Human Body. Students will also conduct a individual research project. This class will prepare students for AP Biology.    Room 228

Assignment Detail

Think about a biome, on any scale you wish, and diagram the food webs, water, carbon, nitrogen, and phosphate cycles through that biome. Document where the kinetic and potential energies are and how humans have impacted it. Also talk about the future of your biome, if the planet’s temperature rises 3 to 8 degrees C.
