Look back at the map of your childhood neighborhood and choose one of the memories that you listed next to one of the landmarks. This should be one of the memories that you remember the most details about.
Write out the memory from start to finish. Include lots of detail so that the memory would come alive for a reader.
After you have written out the complete memory you will turn the narrative into a poem.
Your poem should include internal rhyme or end rhyme. It should include imagery and vivid verbs.
