HOME

As the daughter of two educators in southern California, I have long felt that teaching was a natural path for me and truly feel most at home when I'm in my classroom with my students.  I have been volunteering in classrooms as long as I can remember and have taught high school/middle school for 15+ years. One of those years I spent teaching in Paris, France, which is my favorite city in the world.  Although my current assignment is English and Academic Seminars, I have taught everything from 6th grade math and science to high school art. When I’m not teaching or coaching Academic Decathlon at Western Sierra, I am spending time with my husband and our two young children reading, playing, hiking, and swimming.  I love to travel, having gone all over Europe and as far as Cambodia and Israel. I can’t wait until my kiddos are big enough to go on some foreign adventures!

I’m looking forward to another great year!
